Using an innovative weaving technique developed by master weaver Kim Fröyen and designer Lina Rickardsson, EMM features a unique blend of European linen warp and PVC ribbons. This results in small, raised squares that create a dynamic and vibrant design. The natural shine of the linen is enhanced by the metallic shades, elevating both the pattern and texture.
The Pappelina Rugs are woven on a traditional loom using wooden shuttles. For indoor or outdoor use, the rugs are machine-washable and made from Swedish-manufactured certified PVC. Each rug features reinforced, welded edges for strength and durability.

- Care and Maintenance: To keep your rug looking its best, vacuum it regularly and rinse off spills immediately. Avoid rubbing stains, as this may damage the material. Ketchup should always be rinsed off immediately.
Wash the rug by hand or through professional cleaning at a maximum of 30°C/85°F. Do not use the spin cycle. After washing, lay it flat to dry. Never tumble dry. Because linen is a natural fiber, a slight shrinkage of up to 4% may occur after washing.
