Inspired by Ernestine Eberhardt Zaumseil’s (American, 1828–1904) Branches and Vines Quilt (ca. 1875), this placemat combines rhythmic, organic movement with nature-inspired forms in an homage to traditional American quiltmaking. Layers of hand-appliquéd texture are reimagined for modern life through precise printing on a durable woven textile that wipes clean.
