3 Impossibly Stylish Summer Getaways & How to Bring the Look Home

Summer is around the corner, which means our warm-weather wanderlust is in full-effect. This year, we’ve got our sights set on a handful of seasonal destinations that promise relaxation, recreation, and a healthy dose of interior design inspiration to boot.

Check out three of our must-visit summer destinations, then pack your bags for a weekend getaway ... or bring the look home instead with decor picks to help your recreate each spot's signature style.

The Salt-House Inn, Provincetown

salt house inn - inspiring summer getaways

We love this boutique b-and-b in Provincetown for its collected take on classic New England style. The bright-white walls and shiplap detail in the guest rooms feel airy and pay subtle homage to the inn's coastal locale, while at the same time serving as the perfect backdrop for the gallery-style wall art above the beds. Another highlight? The mix of modern and antique furnishings, which give the inn a hip, curated feel.

Camp Wandawega, Elkhorn, Wisconsin

Camp wandawega stylish summer resort

This Wisconsin camp on Lake Wandawega is a style-packed, yet no-frills approach to the quintessential summer resort that's made it a Midwestern destination for weddings, bachelorette parties, family getaways, and even corporate retreats for brands like Lululemon, Shinola, Anthropologie, and Soho House. The camp is made up of a collection of cabins, and bunkhouses that have a retro, collected, Americana vibe that epitomizes how we'd decorate a lake house, if we had one.

Now, if only we could manage to get a reservation ....

Hasbrouk House, Stone Ridge, New York

This mid-Hudson Valley boutique hotel would be our pick for vacationing a deux. (In fact, it was named by the World Boutique Hotel Awards as The Americas’ Most Romantic Retreat). The hotel is in a meticulously restored and renovated historic home, brought back to life with luxury, comfort, and attention to detail in mind -- some of the amenities in the guest rooms include soaking tubs, heated floors, Frette robes, Aesop toiletries, and fireplaces.

It's just two hours from New York city, but worlds away at the same time.
